The staff arranged a water taxi to pick us up at the airport (I highly recommend this!). We were treated to a welcome drink upon arrival and were in our room in no time, even though it was well before check-in time.

The air conditioning was not up to par. I paid high prices for a good location and air conditioning, so this was an unpleasant experience.

Our superior double room was lovely with nice little extras. It had a direct view with a balcony over the canal, so we could listen to the singing gondoliers.

The location was excellent (I mean, it was literally under 10 minutes walk from St Mark's Square!). The water taxi stop was really close and convenient for transportation.

I had a SUPERB room with vintage furniture and it was REALLY clean. I viewed the canal and gondolas passed by my window!

The breakfast area was tiny, causing slight congestion during peak hours.

I found the location ideal and easily accessible from the water bus. The view from my balcony was picturesque because I was on the gondola circuit, serenaded by opera singers. Breakfast was simple but delicious and I could dine on the pier, watching gondolas. The staff was genuinely friendly and helpful.

The mattress was EXTREMELY firm, I had some sleepless hours and a sore back.

Breakfast included a good selection of juices, yogurts, fruits, cakes, pancakes, cheeses, and salamis. An English breakfast with proper bacon and sausages was available, alongside teas and coffees, the service was good.
